Outdoor Substations

The metal construction is made of 2mm thick galvanised sheet steel; the substation's base-frame is made of iron beam blanks of Π or I section and the dimensions necessary, so that lifting and transporting it will be achieved without twisting or crushing.

The roof is made of 40 mm thick polyurethane panels.

The substation has a coat of anticorrosive dye with a two-component primer and on top of that an electrostatic powder coating, shade RAL 7032.

If the customer requires a different colour, a special order has to be made. Upon delivery, the substation's internal installations (e.g. the lines connecting the Medium Voltage Switchboard and the Power Transformer, the Power Transformer and the General Low Voltage Switchboard, the Automation Switchboard, the Local Power Factor Correction Switchboard and the Lighting) are fully connected.

The power transformer can be wither dry or oil type. Substation of varying KVA can be manufactured on demand.
